KaiLynn began long before it became a brand. It began with a friendship that grew into something more like sisterhood.
Growing up together in Singapore, we shared countless memories and milestones—and eventually, the journey of motherhood. Through every season of life, we have always loved dressing together, whether it was matching with our families, our children or simply with each other.
There was something especially joyful about seeing the people we love dressed in pieces that felt connected. It made beach holidays, family gatherings and even ordinary days feel a little more memorable.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name KaiLynn is especially close to our hearts because it comes from our daughters.
It combines “Kai” from Kairyn, Jesmiin’s daughter, and “Lynn” from Verlynn, Miko’s daughter. By bringing their names together, KaiLynn became a reflection of both our families and the friendship that connects them.
We wanted to create more than a swimwear brand. We wanted to build something meaningful that our daughters could grow up alongside—a legacy shaped by friendship, family and the joy of creating memories together.
We hope that one day, Kairyn and Verlynn will look at KaiLynn and know that they were at the heart of its story from the very beginning.
Why We Created KaiLynn
As mothers, we began looking for matching beachwear and swimwear that felt stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully designed.
But finding pieces that suited the whole family was not always easy. The choices were limited, and we often could not find designs that reflected the playful yet timeless style we wanted.
So we decided to create our own.
KaiLynn was born from our shared love of friendship, family, fashion and the little moments that bring people closer together.
Our collections are created not only for parents and children, but also for best friends, siblings and loved ones who enjoy dressing together. At the same time, every piece is designed to look beautiful when worn on its own.
Matching is always optional. Feeling connected is what truly matters.
Inspired by Our Island Home
As proud Singaporeans, we wanted our first collection to carry a little piece of home.
Singapore’s tropical lifestyle, local culture and sunny island spirit inspired the colours and character of our debut collection, Island Days.
At the heart of the collection is our Coral Bloom print—a cheerful, Peranakan-inspired design filled with soft florals, fresh tropical colours and a sense of joyful nostalgia.
Island Days was created for sunny afternoons, family holidays, beach adventures and the spontaneous moments that often become our most treasured memories.
The collection brings together swimwear and resort pieces for babies, children, women and men, making it easy to create a coordinated family look while allowing every person to choose a piece that feels right for them.
Made for Real Memories
For us, KaiLynn is about much more than matching clothes.
It is about a baby’s first trip to the beach. Siblings building sandcastles together. Parents slowing down and enjoying the sunshine with their children. Best friends laughing over photographs they will look back on years later.
